September 2009

Adam returns from a brilliant holiday rejuvenated and looking forward to a busy spring and summer.  

Sarah is heading off to Papua New Guinea for two months at the end of the month to join a big archaeological project.

July 2009

Ned Kelly Uncovered, the ABC documentary of our dig at Glenrowan airs and gets 20% of the nights viewers - it beats the Ashes!

January 2009

DIG moves again.....into a bigger and better office above the iconic Griffiths Bookshop in Geelong (well its iconic in Geelong).  Bigger space, great light and we have our own kitchen.  

December 2008

Gave presentations to Council and state authorities in Warrnambool and Port Fairy as part of the SW Awareness Project.

November 2008

Had a ball filming a documentary with Tony Robinson (Time Team, Worst Jobs in History, Black Adder) about the Ned Kelly Siege dig in and around Glenrowan.

Conducted the first stage of the Stamford Park dig.

October 2008

Sarah Collins has joined DIG from Aboriginal Affairs Victoria.  Very excited about working with her on projects.

Lots of digging around the Bellarine Peninsular - great Indigenous sites and bracing conditions

September 2008

Conducted test dig at Pentridge finding well preserved remains of former cell blocks and exercise yards dating to 1850s, very interesting site.
