DIG is an established consultancy that provides expert advice on a range of archaeological and cultural heritage issues throughout Australia.  Formed in 1999 we have conducted archaeological due diligence assessments, surveys, excavations and heritage planning activities for both the public and private sector across Victoria, New South Wales, Northern Territory and Western Australia.

DIG has permanent and contract staff that are highly experienced in both Aboriginal and non-indigenous cultural heritage management.

DIG has a proven record of conducting innovative, best practice archaeological work on some of the most significant projects in Australia.  We have experts in the field of survey, GIS, geomorphology, taphonomy, palaeo environmental analysis, stone tool analysis, excavation, post excavation process, archaeological recording, and technical reporting.

We have extensive experience researching and designing projects that address the needs of the cultural stakeholders, the clients and comply with legislation.  In addition we have strong project management experience and can logistically manage large projects any where in the country, efficiently, professionally and in a cost effective manner.
